Jiaogulan (pronouncd gee-ow-goo-lan) is a gourdlike plant that grows wild in southern China. Traditionally, the leaf is used to make medicine, which is used in similar applications as ginseng. for centruies, native chinese have been drinking Jiaogulan as a daily tea to boost their endurance and strength, as well as lessen fatigue.
How does Jiaogulan work?
Jiaogulan is a known adaptogen - a plant - based compound that helps the body naturally counter internal and external stressors. Adaptogens help the ody adapt tothe challenging condition and build up a resistance through balancing of the immune, nervous, and hormonal systems.
